What's your business, and who are your customers?
Marketing for Greatness is a digital marketing agency in Austin, TX. We give businesses a digital transformation by combining advanced SEO & Social Media strategies.
Tell us about yourself
I'm an attorney-turned-forensic marketer, which is just a fancy way of saying that I specialize in marketing analytics and performance-based marketing. I'm probably best known for my work with Beachbody, where I led the launch of their Hispanic Market. Using social media, I was able to grow the brand quickly and become one of the top earners in their compensation plan. After that, I started doing workshops and training on social media and personal branding, which is how I became known as a social media expert. In 2020, I decided to expand my business and merged with an SEO Agency to open a Content Marketing Studio in Austin!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Started a networking group as an initiative to help entrepreneurs connect with the corporate world. That idea turned into a business networking group of close to 10,000 local business owners in Austin.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing for me as a business owner is time management. I am constantly optimizing my processes to avoid being an employee of my business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Trust your inner voice. It's tempting to compare yourself and suffer from self-doubt.
- Invest 90% of your time doing things that will bring you income.
- Let Google sell YOU! If your online presence doesn't give you an advantage, that's on you. Google is free, and anyone should take advantage of it.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
When I'm not marketing for greatness, I'm at home cooking my amazing Puerto Rican food, dancing on TikTok with my kids, or hiking with my amazing husband.
