What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is based on the education and coaching of real estate entrepreneurs. I offer pre-license, continuing education, and entrepreneurial coaching for agents and companies. All based on an entrepreneurial perspective. Everything in my business model "colors outside of the lines"! My study methodology and exam-taking strategies have garnered real estate exam pass rates of over 94%. I guarantee all of my personal, team, and company coaching... and have never had a refund in over 21 years!
Tell us about yourself
My educational background is in educational and institutional psychology. I have applied my formal education into a system and a strategy that has been recognized across the real estate community! I was approached by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission to start a "pre-license" division in my real estate school as the pass rate in the state was below 7%. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the two national real estate exam providers, I have the ability to reverse engineer all of my material (texts, exam prep, exam simulators) to present "exam worthy" topics at every level of my school curriculum.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is truly to use my talents to help people pass the real estate exam and create a lifestyle for themselves and their families! It has been a great feeling watching my students succeed on so many levels in the real estate industry!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The ability to delegate!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Passion first! Know your reason "WHY"!
- Commitment! Decide daily to do what you need to do to "get better" every day!
- Take time to recharge! You need to find time for yourself to do things that you want and like to do! Time flies... and so does the opportunity to take full advantage of the time we have!
