What's your business, and who are your customers?
I specialize in herb magic candles! My candles are specifically made for any religion or belief! I prepare herbs that work together to help achieve your goals/manifestations. I believe that prayer goes a long way, and when you pair it with a candle and herbs, you light the path for your prayers to travel.
Tell us about yourself
Hello, my name is Marie. I was born in Florida, but my family is Haitian. I would like to say I have special insight when it comes to herbs and putting them together. I believe that every herb has the power to set off vibrational energy that can be released into the universe. I’ve always had a passion for candles! I like to say lighting a candle with prayer lights the way for your prayers to manifest. What motivates me to keep going are my two beautiful children and the drive to set an example for them! My customers give me great reviews on how my candles have helped them! I am very passionate about my candles and want to share them with the world!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is putting in the work to get my business off the ground and landing two retail stores!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Staying on track! There are times that I feel drained, but I know I have orders to fill. Working a full-time job and having a business on the side can def test your faith and perseverance. It’s important to know that being successful takes a lot of dedication and commitment. But as the saying goes, nothing easy is worth having! So I work hard every day, so I can build the life I want for my family!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Stay committed.
- Stay positive.
- Always have merchandise on you just in case! You never know when or who your next sale will be or come from!
