What's your business, and who are your customers?

Mane Chic is a luxury on-site beauty team. Our mission is to connect our clients with our team of talented beauty professionals to provide luxury on-site beauty services while elevating your beauty and confidence. We want to provide you the luxury of having your own beauty squad to take care of all your beauty needs, from Hair Extensions to Spray Tans, and specializing in bridal services in the most convenient way possible - In the comfort of your home or location of your choice.

Tell us about yourself

I always knew from a young age that I wanted to be my own boss and create a life by design. I started my own business in the beauty industry at 19, having a suite doing hair and spray tanning. I loved making women feel more confident. When you look and feel good, you can achieve anything, and I wanted to be that example for women and show them what was possible and make them feel their best!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is providing a fun, organized, professional, and growing environment for the girls on my team. I love watching them being able to achieve amazing opportunities as artists.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

There's always something to learn; each level has new devils, and there will always be challenges. But I learned from that that each time it truly grows and takes you to the next level you didn't think was possible. Even when it feels like something is the end of the world, you'll look back and realize it actually needed to happen. When you get uncomfortable, that is when you'll grow so much!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Just start! Go for it; life is so short. You don't want to look back and still haven't gone for your dream. If you can dream it, you can achieve it.
  2. Mindset is truly everything. Always invest in yourself and be willing to work on yourself through personal development.
  3. Be okay with failing, it's part of the journey, and it's going to happen! You'll learn so much from every challenge, setback, and frustration.
