What's your business, and who are your customers?
I make 100% soy-scented candles. Burns cleaner than paraffin wax. Mai style candles burn 40+hours and have amazing scents to fill your home!!
Tell us about yourself
I started the candles business because my 14 yr old son, who is my biggest motivation, came to me one day (at 7yrs old )and said, "mommy can I use ur cream or perfumes? I want to make something so we can get that house"! (he overheard me speaking of a house one day) So besides the mess he was making. We searched the internet and came up with candles!!! We still didn't get that house yet, but we love making candles!!!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Just getting started with my business!!!!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Don't give up. Sometimes it's a struggle, especially if you don't always have the funds.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be patient.
- Consistent.
