What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are trusted advisors for executives of small to mid-sized organizations who realize an investment in emerging leaders solves their growth and engagement challenges.

Tell us about yourself

I had a vision to retire from the corporate world when I was 50 to help small to medium-sized organizations to help them accelerate their success. I left my position in 2007 as the Program Manager at Intel Corporation for their first-line and middle-management to create Magna Leadership Solutions. Every day I get to help technical experts, who happen to be managers, discover their innate leadership style so they can deliver difficult messages to accelerate their success.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

We have found a great formula to create a perpetual business model that has allowed us to continually transform organizations with unhealthy degrading cultures to ones that are positive and thriving.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Creating work-life balance.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Make sure that you:

  1. Have sufficient financial resources for the first 18-24 months as you launch your business.
  2. Have and build your network through social media and personal presence.
  3. Have written a hardcover book on your product or service that clearly articulates how it is different and valuable.
