What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a Praise Coach and the founder of Made to Praise Ministries. We offer a variety of "praise experiences" so that women can find healing, restoration, peace, and joy as they face life's challenges. These experiences include an online course, private coaching, and speaking events.
Tell us about yourself
Through my life experiences of college athletics, public school teaching, the death of my sister, years of singleness into my 40s, marriage, and the traumatic/miraculous birth of our son (just to name a few :)) God has revealed to me the necessity and power of praise in the midst of all of life's circumstances. Seeing women's lives be impacted by praise as they experience more peace and joy motivates me every day!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The launch of my first six-session online course, Power of Praise.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
For me, it's been marketing and trusting my gut with how I navigate social media and the influence of M2P in different streams of opportunities.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Start your days with prayer. Ask God to guide you.
- Give yourself grace; you've never done this before.
- Trust your gut and follow peace even if it's different than how it's being done by others.
