What's your business, and who are your customers?

A full-service naturopathic wellness practice that includes Nutritional Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Medical & Sports Massage therapy. My customers are those in need of life changes due to chronic tension, injury, auto-immune diseases, and physical imbalance.

Tell us about yourself

America is the sickest country in the world. Our healthcare system is a direct result. US agriculture is being destroyed daily by corporate farming practices and advanced marketing to program the minds of consumers to adopt convenience over health.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have the ability to heal people. One on one and in small groups. I started a Wellness membership program for patients committed to improving their health and overall well-being.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Nothing worthwhile comes easy. Hard is relative to the limits you set for yourself. As a sole proprietor, the responsibilities are all on you. That can be a challenge to manage well as you grow.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. There is no reward without risk. You must believe in your work enough to accept the challenges that lay ahead.
  2. Decide which comes first in the order of most importance (i.e., Money, reputation, commitment to quality, honesty, and transparency).
  3. Never try to be everything to all. Find your audience and cultivate relationships.
