What's your business, and who are your customers?
Luxury Comfort Treats are the definition of delicious! We sell alcohol-infused, vegan, savory, and candy popcorn, along with other treats. We also infuse some of our treats with alcohol. Our aim is not to make people get drunk but to add excitement to ordinary treats. Popcorn is our specialty. Our main candy-coated popcorn ingredients are made with sugar, water, water-based food coloring, vegan butter, blue agave, olive oil, and popcorn kernels. The infused popcorn is mixed with an alcoholic beverage. Our cookies are made with sugar, butter, egg, flavor, and flour.
We hope to expand our name across America. Our luxury flavors in popcorn and cookies are like no other. Our treats reach the audience of movie lovers and late-night partiers. We provide new and exclusive party flavors that are not found just anywhere. This makes our popcorn easily accessible in up-scale events like weddings, charity events, and elegant occasions. Founded in 2020, during the pandemic, we like to say we are bringing joy to people all over the United States, and we will be doing so for years to come. The goal was to find what connects happiness in a time of sorrow, and the answer was sweets. We wanted to provide a spark of joy to families and friends with our own creation.
Tell us about yourself
I built a business that I could pass down to my children. That is my motivation. I know after the pandemic, the world's economy might never be the same. So, I set up a way for my kids and I can have an extra income. Of course, the secret to making a business is doing something you love. I enjoyed baking with my children and forming a family legacy.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Our biggest accomplishment was striving during one of the hardest times in America, the 2020 pandemic. We were able to adapt to the changing circumstances and continue to provide our products and services to customers in a safe and convenient way.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I believe that one of the hardest parts of being a business owner is dealing with the constant challenges and uncertainties that come with running a company. This includes things like managing finances, navigating competition, making difficult decisions, and staying on top of industry trends. Additionally, owning a business often requires long hours and a lot of hard work, which can be both physically and mentally demanding. However, with dedication, perseverance, and the right resources, it's possible to overcome these challenges and build a successful business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be passionate about the products and/or services you provide.
- Look up all the permits and licenses you'll need for your business.
- Remember that trial and error helps a business grow. Don't give up!
