Managing Remote Teams - Luca Dellanna

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal and business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Luca Dellanna, an author based in Turin, Italy.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help managers, executives, and entrepreneurs grow their revenues by becoming better people managers.

Tell us about yourself

I love my job; I find fulfillment in helping people grow their teams and become better people managers. So many people dislike their job because of bad managers, and I enjoy trying to make the world a better place by training, coaching, and advising better managers.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Each sale I make and each returning customer is a testament to the value I bring.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Knowing that any time off work has an opportunity cost – and sometimes not being able to choose, for example, if you're sick.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Look for an area where people like you (with your talent, no more and no less; your drive, no more and no less; and your starting conditions, no more and no less) succeeded relatively easily.
  2. Don't try to reinvent more than one wheel.
  3. What got you here won't get you there (a quote by M. Goldsmith).
