What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help online entrepreneurs establish a solid digital footprint through professional (+ strategic) websites and branding. Helping them with not just a website but a user-friendly, goal-focused, and professional brand consistent with their brand's mission.

Tell us about yourself

I started as a general virtual assistant, helping business owners with their day-to-day business tasks. Then, I decided to upskill and invest in training and courses to offer services that I am really passionate about.

My motivation stems from my desire to have the freedom to raise my son and attend all his future school activities without the hassle of filing for leave or asking permission from a boss. In this business, I get to decide my schedule.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being in the online space, I have connected with so many amazing business owners. And I got the opportunity to be working with some of the successful people that I admire. Dream clients are what I call them. I even have a client who is a Hollywood-acclaimed color scientist for TV and Film production.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Definitely time management. Running a business from home is an everyday challenge, and you need to have boundaries to make sure you get some work done.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don't be afraid to embrace new things, such as changes in your industry. Experts never stop learning, so we shouldn't as well.
  2. Set boundaries not just for your clients but also for yourself. You only have 24 hours a day, and you can only offer so much of your time. If you skip this part, you will get burned out and discouraged.
  3. Stop chasing more clients. Delight your existing clients instead. In my experience, it all started with that one great client. And that one client referred me to another one. It has been a ripple effect from there.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

The only obstacle that's stopping you is YOU. You get to decide if you will or won't be successful.
