What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm the founder/CEO of two businesses. Clean Sweep Consulting, Inc. and Love Bigger LLC and the Love Bigger App. Our customers are those who choose to sustainably and charitably downsize their households while supporting local charities in the process. Clean Sweep does that on-site, and Love Bigger is our app that supports sustainable downsizing nationally. It launches this spring.
Tell us about yourself
I am a holistic professional organizer, speaker, author, app developer, and coach who helps people reduce stress, eliminate clutter and overwhelm and sustainably downsize their lives. My goal is to teach 1 million people to love others by sharing their unused, well-loved stuff with Love Bigger charities in their area.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is completing my book and my app, which will both be published this spring, 2023.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things about being a business owner is having to wear all the hats, and when I can't manage everything, or I need a special type of skill I do not possess, finding reliable workers to support the efforts.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Decide what you excel in and declare your expertise right out of the gate.
- The riches are in the niches, so find your niche. What makes you different?
- Decide how you can serve people and do it with love EVERY. DAY.
