What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a national and international career coaching and recruitment firm specializing in hard-to-fill positions in the industrial, health, education, transportation, and non-profit sectors. We are a CNESST-accredited placement agency that works hard to find sustainable solutions for entrepreneurs and companies in terms of available manpower in Canada and internationally. This allows us to have access to a large pool of motivated candidates, available and eager to take part in the success of our client companies. Our clients are individuals and businesses.
Tell us about yourself
I worked with Médecins Sans Frontières for more than 6 years as a field administration manager and then as human resources coordinator. I have seen people who want to join this kind of organization without knowing how to go about it and how to put together a good application. So I decided to help these people by sharing my knowledge. What keeps me going are the people I help. I feel obliged to help them and assist them like members of my own family. I also love to help others.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
It is to be able to help my clients. One person, one company at a time. Helping someone achieve their goal is an accomplishment in itself.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being in control. Responsible for results and knowing how to sell. This is both exciting and difficult. At least for me.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be prepared. Especially financially.
- Find mentors, friends, family, and people to support you.
- Hang on, and especially hang on to God.
