What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business consists of candles, wax melts, room sprays, and car fresheners. My customers are a variety. They come from different states and small towns and are regular everyday people who are not looking to spend a lot of money to make their home or car smell great. I encourage my readers to support my small business because I am local to the community, and I’m invested in the community’s well-being and its future.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Banicia McCarthy, and I’m from Winnsboro, Louisiana. I started this business by watching videos of different candle makers. I have always had a passion for candles and other things. What motivates me is knowing that I will have a storefront of my own one day. Also, knowing that I am my own boss.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment would be growing my business and shipping to different states.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things about being a business owner is understanding the risks and the rewards.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
