What's your business, and who are your customers?

As CEO and Curator of Living Healthy List, I have condensed 25 years of experience and study in nutrition, cooking, exercise, and coaching to educate women on how to find a healthy, happy and productive lifestyle that works for them. Through nutrition and self-empowerment.

As an inspirational thought leader, my goal is to provide honest, reliable, research-backed information on health, wellness, personal development, and fun applicable in real life. I began my career with a bachelor’s degree in hotel, restaurant, and business management, focusing on nutrition.

My background, training, and knowledge in nutrition, and cooking, including professional certification in Plant-Based cooking, exercise, and coaching to help you grow, be more confident, reach beyond limitations, and flourish in life.

Tell us about yourself

My career began with a bachelor’s degree in hotel, restaurant, and business management with a focus on nutrition. Back then never dreamed that I would start a health and wellness platform. Probably because the internet didn’t exist back then, but I never expected to have an impact on so many people the way I do now.

As the Curator at Living Healthy List, I want my readers and clients to look at their health and wellness differently. Along with the experts who I have invited to represent Living Healthy List, we are here to help clients do that! We have the answers to the most burning health and wellness questions, offer a welcoming community, and provide support and guidance, so our clients can be the leader of their own journeys!

I’ve condensed 25 years of experience and study in nutrition, cooking, exercise, and coaching to help people find a healthy, happy and sustainable lifestyle that works for them! That excited me and is what gets me going every day. The impact I can make on one person can then impact their family, friends, and community.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

It's a toss-up between having the ability to work from anywhere in the world and writing an International Best Selling Book. It is titled, Healthy Living, Happy Life: A Practical Path to Finding a Healthy Lifestyle that Works for You.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Shutting down. There is always something to do that requires my attention.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do what inspires you.
  2. Be OK with failure. You will, but that's OK if you look at it as feedback rather than failure.
  3. Pave your path instead of following someone else's. It's harder in the beginning but worth the effort.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Hire a real business coach or consultant. If that's not possible, utilize the free tools provided by SCORE. They can help you get your business started off right.
