Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal and business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Lisa Pezik, Founder of Infinite Design House, located in Ancaster, ON, Canada.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm Lisa, one part of a husband and wife team dedicated to helping you build a thriving online business. We've got a little extra help from a fantastic team of designers, developers, copywriters, and ad experts, as well as occasional insights from our eight-year-old, Oliver. Depending on where you're at in your business journey, there are two ways to work with us. Whichever you choose, you'll soon see that we're a little different than your average agency. We're high-touch, hands-on, and always ready to roll up our sleeves. We don't have pre-set packages or cookie-cutter processes (although we really do like cookies) 🍪. But we're a family, not a factory. Everything we do is designed with you and your unique business — and not a generic 'client' — in mind. As a key part of your business, we'll be with you every step of the way on your journey to a thriving online business. The best part about working with a team that can do it all? Nothing slips through the cracks, and everything comes together seamlessly. We'll put the pieces of your puzzle together and make sure everything runs on autopilot. Our flexible and talented team will put our hands on whatever it takes to make your business thrive.

Our growth package is for you if you're an established business owner who's already doing great work. You've got a proven business model, happy customers, and a great reputation, and you're ready to expand. Expansion can mean a lot of things, but when you work with us, it usually looks something like building and launching a course, setting up a membership program, creating lead magnets and delivering webinars, developing websites (and maybe rebranding), building marketing funnels, offering group coaching programs, getting social media working for you, crafting an email marketing strategy. Our Growth plan takes you from strategy to launch and beyond. When we work with you, everything's taken care of. There's no need to find multiple teams and specialists to bring all the moving pieces of your business together — we've got the team that does it all. End to end, this plan takes around six to twelve months. Once we get to know you and what you're trying to achieve, we'll start you off with a comprehensive strategy for building out and growing your online business.

At this point, we'll be asking you the hard questions, learning your business inside and out, and figuring out how to bring your vision to life. We'll guide you toward the products and messaging that will best align with your values, mission, and financial goals. We'll pull out the stories that will help you gain trust with your audience and help you channel those narratives into sales videos, product videos, and landing pages. We'll write scripts and website copy, guide you through shooting video content, and edit your videos to perfection. We'll develop assets and lead magnets that are carefully crafted to connect with your dream client. Once we've captured your brand's personality, our designers and developers will bring it all to life, building a website, funnel, and online business setup that is completely customized to your brand and your audience. When you're ready to launch, we'll craft a release plan, get to work on your social media strategy, and discuss your options for paid ads. And when everything is ready to go, we'll make sure you've got a solid lead generation system set up to take you into the next phase of your business. This involves running paid ads and publishing organic content.

We'll work closely with you to discuss the ongoing performance of your ads and show you how they're doing in our live dashboard. Our Scale is for you; if you've already developed and tested your assets, maybe you see success, but you know that, with the right strategy and setup, you could be getting much more. The Scale plan involves a monthly strategy call and done-for-you lead generation with monthly reporting. This service is heavily customized to your business's individual offers and target audience and is designed to increase the volume of inquiries coming through your door in a sustainable and long-term fashion. Scale requires a three-month minimum investment, and we handle everything from creative, copy, set up, and daily management and analytics, SEO, targeting, and re-targeting. We work with clients from all industries and all walks of life — from health and fitness to real estate and finance. But there are a few things they have in common: A turnover of $1M+ (or $500k+ if they're solopreneurs). They can handle tough love and down-to-earth advice. They're all in: willing to put in what it takes and see it through for the long haul. We believe in relationships about all else, and we want to see you win!

Tell us about yourself

Growing up, it seemed like everyone was telling me that I wasn't good enough, or that was the messaging I adopted. Coaches, teachers — even her own family. But things are different now because I shed the dead weight of "not good enough." I want to be the best stage performer of our time. My one-woman musical show, Too Big For Her Britches, is a story about breaking generational abuse and finding self-love. It was multiple award-winning shows that have toured around the World, including Hollywood and off-Broadway on 42nd Street in New York City. As the creative force of the business. I'm always finding new ways to express myself and, in turn, help our clients do the same. When we live unapologetically and fully expressed, we become a magnet of authenticity. We do business with PEOPLE, not companies. I dive deep into every project I take on and bring my signature passion, spark, and bubbly energy to the process. Having worked as a nurse for a decade trying to please my mother and live her dream, I learned the power of not living with regret and how important it is to stay aligned with what matters to you. That's why we customize everything we do! I'm motivated to live life to its absolute fullest and help people achieve enduring belief in themselves and their businesses. As a result, I've helped grow countless companies to 7-figures and have mentored some of the best, including Brendon Burchard, Bo Eason, and Roger Love. I'm a Business Strategist, a #1 International Amazon Best Selling Author, Thrive, Global Author, a Worldwide Speaker, a podcaster, and a former RN who knows how to bring the best out of your business.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being a mother and business owner. After I had my son, I struggled with finding the balance between being a business owner and a mother. After I decided to pursue my solo theatre passion, I found it extremely difficult to be a mother, business owner, and solo theatre performer. Knowing that my son sees that I'm doing hard things and not always getting it right, yet never giving up and enjoying the successes, all while knowing that he comes first, far supersedes any high-end contracts we've had, best-selling books I've written, or award for my solo show that I've received.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Trusting your gut as it never lies. The vision can get clouded when you take on the wrong client because you have to pay the bills or you lower your price because you want to get the client. You keep the low-performing team member because you avoid conflict, or you simply quit too soon because the fear of failure gets in the way. The phrase "know your why" is very overused (and helpful and true), but I believe it's when we don't listen to our gut that we disrespect ourselves and dishonor ourselves. So we have to hang through the uncomfortableness and trust that our intuition always knows the right next move if we allow it.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You don't need more information. You need to make some decisions and get to work. We spend a lot of time listening to podcasts, going to seminars, and reading books, but sometimes you don't need to hoard more information; you need to get to work.
  2. Many times, we focus on the ideal avatar, but I believe in focusing on what you want first and then creating that. There is nothing worse than spending months creating a product or service that doesn't align with your core values and desires. Then we start operating from the "have to' vs. "get to or want to." Joy is just as important as money.
  3. If you're just starting out, don't worry about a fancy website or funnel. You need an offer, a payment gateway, and a way to deliver the goods. Building a business out of desperation is no way to live. Marketing, funnels, and growth require income. Focus on service first, and the rest will fall into place.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I'm petrified of Haunted Houses; I became a theatre actor, singer, and songwriter at 40; I love karaoke, traveling, and making memories with my family.
