What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm a digital organizer who helps online business owners create custom systems to manage their files, inboxes, and all the behind-the-scenes of their business.
Tell us about yourself
I'm a former teacher who learned quickly that you have to learn to manage a lot of files if you want to survive! A colleague saw my Google Drive and couldn't believe how organized and easy to use it was. After that encounter, I started helping teachers organize their Google Drives, and it's grown from there! I still work with teachers but also help business owners. I've organized Google Drive, Gmails, Canvas, Asanas, computer hard drives, and more! I love creating filing systems and file naming conventions for clients. I get to support so many amazing business owners by making doing business easier for them.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
It's every time a client comes back to me and tells me how much lighter they feel and how they get to spend more time doing what they love instead of fighting digital clutter. A surprising number of my clients end up crying happy tears!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Juggling all the parts of the business. As a solopreneur, I not only do the organizing, I'm the marketer, tech person, customer service, and all the pieces that go into running a business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Start simple. Invest in yourself. Do what feels like integrity for you. You don't have to listen to the "big gurus" and do things the way they did.
