What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a specialty coffee roasting company that sells exceptional fresh roasted coffee. Our customers are those who love great coffee.
Tell us about yourself
In prayer, I asked the Lord Jesus what I should do for work, and I saw a vision of a coffee plant in my backyard in Texas. I researched nearly everything about coffee, and shortly after, I was invited to Guatemala to see how coffee was grown. I was then convinced I was supposed to start a roasting company back home which my dad and I founded Lion's Head Coffee in 2020. What motivates me each day is knowing I'm called to it, and it is destined to become a great success because the Lord Jesus gave it to me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Shipped to 10 Countries outside of the US.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Trusting the process and not giving up when you don't always see progress.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find your WHY. Your why of who you are and why you're doing what you're doing. Don't lose sight of it.
- Learn everything you can about your industry. Knowledge is the most important.
- Balance. Learn when to grind and when to sit back and rest. Without a balance of rest and work, you will be burnt out before you hit success. Enjoy the journey.
