What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is a Dance Studio! Families with children ages 18 months to 18 years. We also offer adult classes!
Tell us about yourself
I first started dancing at age 3 and never looked back. It has always been a dream of mine to own a dance studio, and it is very surreal that it is now a reality! What motivates me is seeing what dance does for my students. It greatly improves their confidence, and seeing them grow over the years is so rewarding.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Having over 150 students register for my first summer open!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Managing the finances and finding the time to devote to the administrative side of things properly.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Take the leap, make sure you fully research ALL of the costs that you will incur, and follow your passion.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I am a very new business (only two months old!), and I am excited to see what the future holds!
