What's your business, and who are your customers?
I teach full-time RV moms how to cook quick and easy meals without feeling overwhelmed with their small space using simple home chef techniques.
Tell us about yourself
My mom cooked us homemade meals every night when I was growing up, and that's when I really fell in love with cooking. I love collecting cooking school textbooks, experimenting, developing recipes, and helping others learn how to cook homemade meals. I started a food blog in 2019 and have been writing articles for other bloggers and teaching about cooking ever since.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is that I keep showing up every day. No matter what happens, I know this is what I want to do with my life. I've made the commitment to myself to always show up, and I will!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
There's no one there to guide you and help you figure things out. There's a lot of trial and error, and you need to be alright with failing and then picking yourself back up every now and then.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- If you want to start your own business, do something you love!
- Find a coach who will help you with your mindset and strategy so that you can be as successful as possible.
- Don't give up on yourself when nothing is going right; there's always another day and another way to make it work.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
If you're persistent and know what you want out of life, go for it! The only person who can give you what you want is you. You've got this!
