What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a feminine empowerment coach. Using astrology and polarity teachings, I help women awaken their sensual, wild femininity, embody their multi-faceted selves, and access their inner fire and power to transform their relationships, careers, and their lives.

Tell us about yourself

My biggest motivation is all the women whose voices have been silenced, who have been made to feel lesser than or 'too much,' who have been made to feel like some of the most intrinsic, intuitive parts of who they are - are 'wrong.'

I've always known I wanted to help people, but after leaving an extremely toxic relationship, I was totally lost and didn't know who I was anymore. That was when I started learning astrology and discovered how detailed and in-depth it was at explaining why I am the way I am. It helped me find my voice and fall back in love with myself, but the magic really happened when I incorporated embodiment practices into my journey, which helped me to not just 'know' about my power, but actually 'be,' embody, and use it in my life. I knew right away that I wanted to help women step into their own power in the same way, and I have been doing this ever since!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

It has to be the feedback from my clients when they're able to release and heal a lot of the conditioning and programming around things like self-worth and vulnerability through our sessions. Receiving messages like "I've never felt so seen before" and "I didn't even know how much I needed this" makes me so happy and is proof that this work is so, so necessary for women who are ready to go deeper, feel more, and be more.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

As this is my soul-led business where everything I express comes from the heart of my experiences, the hardest thing I've had to face is pushback and criticism from people who are triggered by my authentic voice and power, especially as a woman of colour. But I know my mission is to break the box that society has forced women into, and I'm fully prepared to ruffle a lot of feathers on the way.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Figure out your 'why' because it's the thing that will carry you through all the unpredictable ups and downs of running a business.
  2. Get really honest with yourself, especially about where you're struggling. A business is so much more than just making money - there is a ton of inner work and money mindset work that comes along with it.
  3. This goes against a lot of the advice that's out there, but don't let a niche limit what you express (especially if it's a soul business). In the same way that you are many things, your business can be many things too. This is why my tip #2 about being honest and doing the work is so important - if you are confident in who you are and your 'why,' you will attract your soul clients no matter what you do.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Invest in yourself by investing in mentors and teachers who you resonate with. Make sure they've actually done their own work around whatever it is they're teaching you and that their practice is based on empowerment, not fear.
