What's your business, and who are your customers?
LifeWorks Coaching is a way for us to see how we align with purpose, passion, and joy in our careers. I create Professional Resume Mandalas to guide individuals to align with communities, companies, and roles that are meaningful to life and align with personal core values. Everything we do in life matters, and there is a world of possibility and opportunity. Through Professional Resume Mandalas, we create a synergistic language that enhances our values and calls in more of what we love to do in our careers.
Working 'with' people in life rather than for them will create a ripple effect of change in people's lives, establishing a strong framework and foundation for future opportunities. My clients are ready to take the initiative and accountability to reflect, contemplate, and get real with what brings them joy in life and career. My clients are ready to work with a coach and dive deep into a collaborative process. As we work together to refine, refine, refine our professional resume and align our mastery, we find our purpose, drawing inspiration from each role, relationship, and opportunity, and improve our ability to communicate with passion and joy through freedom and possibility.
Tell us about yourself
As a visionary leader, I infuse passion and genuine care into every project I work with. Collaboration and clarity in communication are key values, and communication is a strength we all hold the ability to master. I began my journey into Professional Resume Mandala writing in my 11-year career working with the University of Utah and the Mission-Based Management Program. This program showed me a world of possibilities open when we align with our mission and purpose in life. We worked with Faculty Curriculum Vitaes from around the world to strategize the values and missions of the institution. This experience connected me to realize that we all need this on an individual level. I began to create a strategy, program, and opportunity to coach people to align in harmony with the roles they serve in life. It is vital for our health and well-being that we are happy in our careers; this has been a driving element in my journey. I am grateful to now be able to offer this program and life-changing approach to Resumes and job search to those who are ready for a new way of being.
I am motivated each day by knowing I am following my heart and encouraging EVERYONE I meet to do the same. I am motivated by influencers and mentors who teach authenticity and who teach us to each follow our hearts and speak our truth. Aligning us each and every day with purposeful living, connected living, and communities that embody meaningful living.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My largest accomplishment in being a business owner is aligning with authenticity. It is a massive accomplishment for anyone to follow their heart and find joy and purpose in what we each do. I am honored to help people do the same. There are so many consensus norms and cultural barriers for people to feel safe to follow their dreams and heart; it is important to be a business owner excited to remind people to do this every day of life.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the most challenging elements of being a business owner is communicating to the worldwide networks why what we are doing matters. When we align with purpose and passion, it can be challenging to trust in our value and worth. To know what we are doing has meaning. Networking and putting ourselves out there in the world, vulnerable and seen, can be frightening. Continue to trust in your heart, and everything will fall into place! Have integrity in every relationship you make; you will connect with exactly who you are meant to connect with.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Follow your heart every day and always. Speak your truth and follow your intuition. Learn what your true heart-felt intuition feels like. This will always connect you to where you are meant to be and who you are meant to align with. Success is far more than we can even imagine, and true success is how we feel inside about what we are doing for the world, for our families, and for our community. Know the value in your heart around what your service is providing.
