What's your business, and who are your customers?
Lexicon Design is a design consultancy focused on physical product solutions. We develop products from sketch through production for a variety of markets, including medical devices, consumer electronics, IoT, industrial, safety, and outdoor products. Our customers include entrepreneurs, startups, established brands, and fortune 500 companies.
Tell us about yourself
My background is in industrial design and product development. I had been an in-house designer for consulting, R+D., and product companies for a number of years and decided to open a practice based on great client relationships and a focused design process. My motivation is to work with our team to tackle challenging problems that address user needs and deliver elegant, functional, and marketable product solutions for our clients.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Growing our team and capabilities so that we can offer an end-to-end solution for our customers.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Balancing the administrative functions of running a business while inspiring the team to be a creative powerhouse.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
