What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help people that feel stuck in their careers find new ones. A lot of times, people stay stuck because they don't know what to do next. I help them find what is next within themselves. No need to go back to school and start over. We start with all they have learned from their experiences and figure out what they want in life.

Tell us about yourself

I never had much direction in my life. In college, I found a path and then worked it when I got out of school. It was fun but wasn't giving me everything I wanted in my life. I started to look for other things. That led me on my path of discovery. I tried a few things and even got back into film production for many years. Then when I was ready for a change, I searched and found coaching. This is all my experiences and personality mixing into a perfect career for me.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Helping others see their worth, embrace their dreams, and design (and Live) their life on their terms.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Balance in work and life. The rollercoaster of being busy and slowing down. And being ok with the flow of busy and slow.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Take time to explore the business before committing - try it out or interview people who are doing it.
  2. Be prepared not to make money at first.
  3. Gather a support group of entrepreneurs around you-networking, masterminds, a small group that meets regularly.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Being a business owner is scary at times, but the control of my life, my schedule, and working at something that excites me daily is worth it all. I love that I am helping people. That is my motivator.
