What's your business, and who are your customers?
At Legendary Ideas Group, we create business training manuals, done-for-you websites, and advertising campaigns for growing companies. Our customers are business owners and executives that want to structure their organization to be efficient so they can focus on their zones of genius. We also service companies that need websites, website copywriting, and digital ads.
Tell us about yourself
Before I started my agency, LI Group, I had been a brick-and-mortar business owner for several years. After I grew my brick-and-mortar business to multiple locations in a short amount of time, business owners would always ask me how I did it. I began consulting other businesses independently, and as my client’s needs grew, I began growing my team to help me serve them to the best of my ability. What started as an independent consultancy turned into a talented team of tech experts and creatives. I’m motivated every day by my team! With the team’s support, I’m able to stay in my lane, and my clients are empowered to stay in their lane too.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
After a few years of operating my brick-and-mortar business, Puff & Fluff Spa, in Phoenix, Arizona, I learned how important delegating is for business owners. The truth is, as a business visionary, I couldn’t possibly do it all on my own. With so many responsibilities, I needed to learn how to share the workload with others so that I could have time to think about growing my business. When I mastered the concept of effective delegation, I began helping other business owners delegate. I’m extremely proud of my ability to delegate and even more pleased to share my knowledge.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Patience! As a seasoned entrepreneur, I know first-hand how important and extremely challenging patience can be. I’ve learned that there’s a time for everything, and if something isn’t happening right now, that doesn’t mean it won’t ever happen! At our agency, the projects we work on for clients typically take weeks of phases to complete the goal. While we’re eager to see the results right away, it doesn’t happen overnight! Our team dedicates their time and energy to creating products for our clients, and while the result isn’t ready in a day, it’s always worth the wait. It’s absolutely true what they say, “the best things in life take time.”
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
