What's your business, and who are your customers?

Purely Natural and Organic Makeup and Skincare products. The goal of our company is not just to sell products but to provide healthy, nourishing products that can support our customers' health. Our customers are people who are interested in clean, healthy beauty and caring for themselves and their health.

Tell us about yourself

I was very sick for 10 years with some debilitating illnesses that no doctors could help me with. Because I didn't have any answers or help, I started learning about health and wellness during those years to try to find a way to heal. Slowly over those years, as I gained more and more knowledge and understanding about health and wellness, I started healing and eventually overcame the illnesses.

After becoming healthy again, I decided to start my own company where I could formulate and produce truly natural and organic products to help support others in their lives and health. My motivation each day is waking up healthy and happy and knowing how to help and support others through their difficulties, and being able to make a difference in their lives.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

To me, my biggest accomplishment as a business owner is starting my company from the ground up 17 years ago with just a few hundred dollars as a single mother of three little boys, with a vision to help others who were going through what I had gone through and being able to see that vision come to reality.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest, but also enjoyable, thing that comes from being a business owner is the constant need to change and adapt to everything that happens and finding new and innovative solutions to the never-ending challenges that come up as my company grows and expands.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do what you are passionate about.
  2. Keep that vision in mind and work towards it every day.
  3. Wise persistence is an important key to success!
