What's your business, and who are your customers?
Lady Perry Enterprise is a few things. One, I am a motivational speaker for young women and teenage girls. I am also the author of Fearless, marketed to teenage girls and women. I am also a Life Coach whose primary customers are young adults between the ages of 18-25.
Tell us about yourself
I started speaking at a very young age, not on purpose. I was always the kid with the longest part in the school play. I started coaching during my teen years, again not on purpose; however, I was the friend that not only had a solution to your problem, but I could show you step by step.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner was having my 2nd client, whom I coached, come back about three years after we worked together to let me know that she is still utilizing the tools that I gave her to live out loud in her life now.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing I have had to deal with as a business owner is finding and keeping staff that can fully support the company's vision.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do your research on the business that you are looking to start.
- When your business is up and running, hire a CPA.
- The moment your passion shifts or you are no longer proud and happy about what you do, don't be afraid to pivot into something else.
