What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a Transformational Soul Coach and author. I help coaches and entrepreneurs worldwide connect to joy and aliveness in their business with passion and purpose so they can enjoy the journey in full trust and courage.
Tell us about yourself
While exploring my talents and interests, I discovered the wonders of coaching. Initially, I viewed it as a way to develop my skills and utilize my capabilities. My realization revealed a journey to heal, grow and transform how I was choosing to live, the person I was living into each day, and clarity for what I wanted to give and receive in my life.
There is a continual inspiration when there is a commitment to connection. I am motivated through the presence of connecting with others to help them live into their authenticity, be in heart and wholeness, and be part of the impact they make in the world. All derived from the discipline of practicing inner connection. What assists me in my efforts is knowing that every person has access to presence, accountability, inner leadership, and self-compassion.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Guiding myself by cultivating trust in the partnership of head and heart cooperation in everyday functioning. This has allowed me to trust the process and adapt to chosen niches throughout my development as a coach. Within this journey has been the understanding that I don't win unless I am helping others win. This has given me the opportunity to publish books, host workshops, and create signature coaching programs to support people in their lives. Seeing myself as a leader who provides the perspective of possibility is an important attribute that I ensure to convey. Contained within this is the seed of reframing what failure and success mean within me. My mindset blossomed into transferring this understanding into all areas of my life.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
As a business owner, I feel that maintaining supportive habits is one of the hardest things that contribute to being a thriving business owner. Having the dedication to habits that restore and renew your energy, that support the mindset, allows the body to function effectively. The difficulty is having an awareness of depleted self-care and welcoming rest as an essential lifestyle choice. The willingness to shift beliefs when they don't align with the personal vision of what health and wellness are as it relates to being an empowered business owner. Knowing what habits are fueling your mind, body, and soul while scheduling them in the day.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Know your values and live into them. The understanding of core values is important because it will help to align all efforts being taken in business and life. This will also strengthen the clarity of the actions being taken so fulfillment can be experienced. Living to core values will influence the quality of decisions being made.
- Conscious awareness of self-talk. Through supportive inner dialogue, stress can be reduced and managed, which helps to alleviate depleted mental health.
- Be curious to explore your beliefs and to heal from the ones you wish to change. The limiting beliefs that are preventing you from growing or learning may have been formed from past experiences or situations that don't relate to how you want to see the world now.
