What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm an award-winning multimedia artist and designer with several professional portfolios of work in specialized areas and skills. Recently, I branched out to make my own physical products in-house, such as tote bags, t-shirts, mugs, tumblers, keychains, jewelry, etc., inspired by my artistic research in art and science.

Tell us about yourself

I wanted to become a more independent creator after doing work for other people; for 10 years now, I've learned and gained a significant amount of experience and skill. I saw a vision and followed it.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I worked with a college friend designing digital products for an Etsy store that raised money ($2,500) for medical and protective supplies for the Ukrainian Army. This movement grew into an initiative, and I helped my friend organize, develop and establish an art organization that continues to raise funds for medical and protective supplies by auctioning the artwork of displaced artists and then aiding in their healing from war traumas via art therapy.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Sales and consistency.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Don't copy or imitate anyone; the unique, 'weird,' authentic you is what will make you stand out from the competition.
