What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I am the fastest-growing female-focused influencer in the love space and started this company to find the love of my life. Every day, I get closer to that goal.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The very issue I am working to solve for others is one I have faced intimately and deal with daily - loneliness. As a solo founder, especially in a space where I am constantly engaged with other peoples' problems, women's worries, fears, hopes, and desires - being in that protective caregiver role reinforces the reality that I don't have someone doing the same for me yet. At the same time, it is the very source of fuel, the relief from pain, and is the strongest motivator of human action, especially when the pot of gold on the other side is love and family.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Get upset about the fact that you live a life with someone else telling you what to do, owning your livelihood, creativity, and energy/time.
- No means find a way to say yes.
- Either try many things until something sticks or become such a high conviction and force the world to see its value.
