Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Kisma Orbovich, founder of Kisma Productions LLC., located in Carlsbad, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm CEO of Illumination Academy, and as a coach and trainer, I help mission-driven entrepreneurs, coaches, and career professionals create astonishing amounts of prosperity in all ways- wealth, leadership, love, and spirituality.

Tell us about yourself

For the first half of my life, I was a classical flutist. I realized my dream of playing in an orchestra and lived in Hong Kong for nine years doing so. Then I became curious about what else was out there. Music is so insular. I started studying yoga and then moved back to the states to open a yoga studio. We were successful right from the start. I started to study Vedanta Philosophy, and that took me to India every year. This is, and universal law is the foundation of my coaching style and courses.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being me. The coaching world is very noisy, and it is easy to get swept up in thinking that you have to do it like someone else. Because of the spiritual and philosophical foundation of what I do, I have kept to my studies every morning and stayed true to what I know works for my clients and students. This is liberating as it might not look like what everyone else is doing.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Staying in centered awareness. Objective.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Get clear on what you want to do for people or provide. Figure out who your ideal client is- this is so easy to pass on but helps with your messaging. Create an offer that fits like a glove, balanced in the tension of what they do not have and providing amazing solutions to get to what they want.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Having a business and being an entrepreneur is like a fast path to self-realization. One must overcome all the fears and limiting beliefs and reach deep down into their soul for the courage to be present in their business and show up.
