What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a premium natural beverage company that provides you with the highest-quality loose leaf tea blends. What makes us unique is that we focus on a few core ingredients in each of our herbal blends to maximize their impact and effectiveness.
We base our health tea blends on Ancient Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles. We believe that by looking to the past, we can help people like you relieve common everyday ailments. Naturally. We look to serve those who are interested in improving their potential and want to do so naturally.
Tell us about yourself
I personally have always wanted to improve myself in all aspects of my life but mainly healthwise. Once I met my wife, who is from Turkey (the largest tea drinkers per capita), I began to drink more and more tea. After some research, I realized that ancient cultures, including the ottoman, used herbal tea remedies. From there, we tried and tested some blends for personal use, and we just grew from there.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment, I would say, is finally biting the bullet and starting.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
As a sole business owner, I do everything myself, and finding the time to prioritize each aspect of the business can be difficult.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Obvious one that everyone says "Start"!
- Work in all aspects of your business in order to get a feel for what is required, from marketing to accounting. To get a feel for it all and it will help you in the future hiring/delegating for each role.
- Utilise your skillset in your business.
