What's your business, and who are your customers?
I offer Counselling and Spiritual Development services. Those who use my services seek clarity for their spiritual path or require assistance overcoming life challenges from a soul lead perspective.
Tell us about yourself
The journey of starting my business began from personally experiencing transformational trauma, which led me on a self-healing, spiritual journey and then led me to complete my professional qualifications in Counselling and Relationship Therapy. Then with some experience working with clients, I saw some limitations when working within the mainstream therapy modalities and felt the strong calling to begin my own business, offering services that include more expanded spiritual and metaphysical perspectives. This has resulted in giving me great motivation each day, in knowing that I can help empower the lives of others from any state of consciousness that my clients are currently experiencing.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I see my biggest accomplishments in terms of how I have helped positively impact the lives of others, for this underpins why I do the work that I do. My biggest accomplishment, therefore, is working with people directly and indirectly from all around the world, helping to consciously shift them from the deepest depths of depression and disconnection to them becoming empowered and living with meaning and purpose.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
In my experience, it would be managing your time to have a healthy work and life balance. When you are passionate about something, it is easy to overwork yourself and over-commit. However, when you maintain a work-life balance that is right for you, you prevent yourself from being burnt out. You keep yourself grounded and flexible to grow in new ways, as well as receive creative inspiration and fresh focus in your work through drawing on diverse life experiences.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Focus your business on what you are truly passionate about and get niche with it.
- Keep self-belief and patience during the ups and downs in business.
- Act on creative inspiration regardless of the risk, for you then allow the Universe to guide you where you are meant to go.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Maintain the belief in yourself and how your service or product will positively impact the lives of others. You will allow inspiration to move through you, to start, grow and expand your business in more meaningful and successful ways.
