Tell us about yourself
Figure Out Where Your Passion Is. Now that you are ready to move your life forward, decide what personal health commitments will give you a fresh start. When I was diagnosed with prediabetes, I found that my health, hormones, weight, mood, and food preferences… were Keto all the way. And this ignited a passion in me like no other. I found the Keto diet because I was desperate to save my life... and I haven't looked back.
I've lost 40 pounds and reversed my pre-diabetes, and my health problems are gone! I've been living the Keto lifestyle for over four years. My energy has returned. My brain works faster, better, and with more focus. I have more confidence. Life is fun again :) I've put my passion for Keto into coaching full-time. I'm dedicated to serving and inspiring other women to get their life back, gain vitality and lose weight.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
In my former life, I owned a successful marketing and advertising agency for over 30 years and loved it. Until life became difficult... unbearable, to be honest. I didn't have any energy, my body hurt, and it was challenging to run my business. I was depleted, had multiple health challenges, and was overweight (in a firm that focused on glamour and required tireless hours, endless creativity, and grit). Of which, I had none!
Once I found Keto, I closed my marketing business and allowed my passion for Keto to guide me. I started my coaching business from the ground up. It's been a fantastic journey working with women to see their lives change and watch them transform.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Letting go of the desire to do it all yourself was tough but necessary for me initially. I've come to embrace the power of a team to thrive, grow and scale a business to reach my goals.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Dream big, don't play small, and create your vision for where you want to go and why you want to serve this audience.
- Brand yourself from the start so that your energy, offerings, and style shine through. This is how you'll find your tribe.
- Be fluid with your business, programs, and offerings, and keep going. Make as many revisions as you need to until you are successful. You want only sometimes to make a home run the first time you get to bat.
