What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm a clean stand-up comedian and speaker. I write books and films for Hallmark Channel. I tour all around the US.

I love to make people laugh. I wanted to control my own destiny, so I left acting to pursue comedy.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I feel proud that I've been able to make a full-time career as a comedian for the last 15 years.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
It's always a grind to get the next client. You never stop hustling. You never stop working. But it's all worth it in the end because you become even more excellent at your craft with each passing year.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find someone who is excellent at the job that you want to do and ask them to mentor you.
- Study the business you want to be in until you know it backward and forwards.
- Always drive to be the very best in your line of business, so you are someone that is unforgettable.
