I’m a business and leadership coach. Organizations and mission-driven CEOs call on me when they want to optimize their productivity, performance, and profits.
Tell us about yourself
Making an impact, freedom, and mastery are my top personal drivers. Being an entrepreneur for over thirty years has helped me experience all three. What continues to motivate me is being part of the transformation, whether it be in the form of corporate culture change or a client’s personal and spiritual growth.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
What comes to mind first is creating 6 and 7+ figure operations. However, my greatest accomplishment is promoting wholistic wealth, which is far greater than the financials alone. Wholistic wealth is being mindful and fostering all aspects of your life, physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, connective, and collective. This brings sustainable fulfillment.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is having the courage to pivot when things feel out of alignment. It’s easy to keep doing what you’ve always done, especially if it’s successful. However, having the strength to alter or completely begin again takes moxie, perseverance, and integrity. It tests personal resiliency and offers an opportunity to act despite feeling vulnerable.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Take time every day to cultivate confidence. You are unstoppable when you are confident about yourself, your product, and your mission. People gravitate towards confidence, and developing it as a skill will serve you well.
- Embrace discipline. There is freedom in following a routine, especially when it comes to being an entrepreneur, where you are responsible for managing your time. Setting up focused daily time blocks where you eliminate distractions and produce strong work will result in radical results.
- Commit to being people-focused. In a world where there is no shortage of things and information, stand out by prioritizing people. Compassionate listening, heart-to-heart connection, and emotional intelligence will never be able to be replaced or automated.
