What's your business, and who are your customers?
As a coach and strategist, I work with individuals and organizations to embrace an accountability mindset to build strong, thriving cultures, overcome complex challenges, and create meaningful strategies.
Tell us about yourself
I spent four years helping to build an organization and an incredible team. What I learned in those four years and the people with whom I worked were instrumental in helping me get to where I am today. Deciding to leave and go out on my own was a tough decision.
My love of learning, working with amazing people, and my family motivates me. Through my work, I am able to achieve (on most days) fulfillment in each of these areas.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is being able to do the work that I do, work that I love doing, and be there for my family in the way I want to be. Yes, some days are hectic and stretch from 4:00 AM to late into the evening, but they are full - in the best way possible.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Sharing and celebrating the accomplishments and achievements of others are among my favorite things. I don't do as good a job as I should at celebrating and sharing my accomplishments and achievements.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Build a team of advisors, don't be afraid to ask for their insight and support, and listen to them. This team doesn't need to be formal, but it needs to be diverse, and it needs to be comprised of people who will be honest with you.
