What's your business, and who are your customers?
UNSTUCKKD is a platform dedicated to helping one billion people get unstuck in their finances, life, career, and business. I'm the host of the UNSTUCKKD podcast. With over 25 episodes and 10,000+ downloads, the UNSTUCKKD podcast gives people actionable steps on how to get unstuck in their life, career, finances, and business.
Tell us about yourself
I started my first business in college. I literally sold screen-printed shirts out of my dorm room (seriously, my college still has the 2015 article published). What motivates me every day is lowing the barrier to entry on truly learning how to be the CEO of your finances, life, career, and business. UNSTUCKKD also offers advisory services for startups that are ready to define the future of business and philanthropy. We believe that you have the power to change your future, but sometimes we need help.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is being a business owner that helps thousands of people every day in person and on all major social platforms! The ability to work full-time on my business is something I am grateful for every day.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The constant management of your time and mental health. This can be a constant struggle. If you ask for help, show yourself grace, and play the long game, things have a way of working out in your favor!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
UNSTUCKKD and the UNSTUCKKD Podcast are dedicated to helping one billion people get unstuck. Getting "stuck" is the most common occurrence when starting anything, especially a business. Here are my three tips for getting unstuck and starting your business:
- Explore your interests and the world around you. I have interviewed thousands of people, and the number reason people get stuck is they stop exploring!
- Find a way to stay consistent instead of aiming for perfection. Action will always beat inaction.
- For the average America, managing finances is a constant challenge. Learn how to manage your money. We covered this extensively in our Personal Finance episode hosted by me. Money is energy!
