What's your business, and who are your customers?
As a part of K.L. Hall Productions, I created Booked & Busy™ Digital workbooks, courses, and book writing tools to help aspiring authors go from a blank page to writing and publishing their first book.
Tell us about yourself
I remember being an aspiring author who knew I wanted to write but lacked the guidance on getting started, let alone how to publish my work. That's why I created my Booked & Busy™ products. From crafting the perfect book bae to the ultimate social playbook for a successful book release, my downloadable resources will help authors put fingers on keys and write stories they'll love while turning their passion into profit.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner so far has been being able to help aspiring authors along their writing journey with my resources. It's important for me to be able to give back and lend a helping hand when I can.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is learning how to market to the right audience. A lot of trial and error comes with being a new business owner and trying to scale. Everything isn't one-size-fits-all, especially when it comes to marketing.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do your research.
- Be a continuous learner and continue to sharpen your craft/business skills.
- Relax and remember that Rome wasn't built in a day.
