What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is a physical jewellery retail boutique located in Oakville, Ontario. Specializing in handmade wedding bands, diamond engagement rings & custom design! Available in 10k, 14k, 18k, and Platinum.

Tell us about yourself

I have always loved to create/design jewellery, especially one-of-a-kind rings! I love my jewellery business, and my loyal customer motivates me to keep continue.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I would say our biggest accomplishment is to have been verified recognized by CBRD for customer satisfaction, outstanding service, business leadership, and strong vision. Made in Ontario!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

To balance work and family time, I would say.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. First, I would say do your homework.
  2. Ask questions and more.
  3. Are you prepared for now and then.
  4. Startup small, save and let it grow naturally.
  5. Have backup savings and a backup plan.
  6. Be prepared to be ready 24/7.
