What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business specializes in branding, web design, and digital marketing. Our customers are small businesses that are looking for a new brand or to rebrand. They may come to us for a new logo or just a website as well. Our customers are thoughtful individuals who understand the importance of branding and know the remarkable when they see it.
Tell us about yourself
I originally went to school for business, but halfway through my degree decided to change and apply to design school. I’ve always loved being creative, and design school was the right choice for me. After graduating, I worked as an in-house designer for private companies.
Three years ago, right at the beginning of COVID, I decided to take my design business full-time, and it’s been the best decision I ever made. I am deeply motivated by creating stunning remarkable brands. The appreciation that I receive from clients after a project is finished is what I am most grateful for. It is what makes my heart happy and why I keep doing what I do.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Hitting multi-six figures in less than three years.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
For me, the hardest thing is finding good help and support. I’d love to have someone help with design projects, but it’s hard to find people that meet my standards.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don’t let fear get in the way of your dreams. Jump in with both feet, but make sure you have a plan.
- Mindset is everything. Practice the law of attraction.
- Make sure you’re running your business based on your purpose in life, which is for the highest good for all. If you do, the money will come naturally.
