What's your business, and who are your customers?
It is a small scent business focused on wellness. We offer soy candles and diffusers so far and looking forward to adding more products soon. Our Customers are all those interested in wellness and like to fill their spaces with aromas.
Tell us about yourself
I'm a woman in my 50s, foreign MD, graduated, and three years ago, I asked myself what to do in my life that would make me feel whole every day and share with others and help others in some way at the same time not be dependent on a paycheck. I started to look inside myself, and I got the answer based on my life experience with scents. Well, I start the journey. Sharing the benefits of scents with others is my daily motivation.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
To be able to transmit what we believe by offering a product with purpose, and customers catch the message.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The time to invest in putting everything together is a lot of hours every day, be on top of every detail, be able to cover all areas by yourself if you can't pay for help, bring traffic to your platform, and position your product in the market all those things with no reasonable income until the business grows.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have knowledge about everything related to your business.
- Be perseverant. Every effort count. Do not give up.
- Believe in your business and project that to others.
