Joshua Deardens Photography is a full-service portrait photography business servicing families, headshots, weddings, senior portraits, child photography, pet photography, dance photographer, events, boudoir & glamour, nude photography, and real estate photography. I do all types of photography for your needs!
Tell us about yourself
I’ve always enjoyed photography, but I did some photography work in college, and it branched out from there!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment was the first time someone said I am really good at what I do! But my biggest goal right now is to one day be a published photographer!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Marketing and advertising are costly and hard to achieve. And word of mouth is very difficult to get people to be out there helping your business grow!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Start by marketing first, learn to craft the business, and focus on spending every profit back into the business!
