What's your business, and who are your customers?
Boston Biolife is a science education company that facilitates the understanding of complicated life science principles to healthcare providers who have an opportunity to help patients in need.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I’m formally educated as a biochemist. However, I spent most of my time in the medical device; medical imaging is now the life-science arena for healthcare and clinical applications of life science technologies in medicine.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I think the biggest challenge of being an entrepreneur is being relevant staying current in creating opportunities for goods and services that are novel and benefit your industry. This comes with research in education networking and community Outreach
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The first rule I would argue is the most important is to follow your passion do what you’re passionate about. The second is to be a student of your craft. The third is to be nimble and agile.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I think it’s important to be mindful of the intentions of your business. Try to understand the best potential impact on your field to create. Providing opportunities for those in your community as well as those in your industry are the most gratifying experiences business will have highs and lows and develop a range of emotions unlike any other experience in life; however, the rewards are tremendous in the opportunities are vast keep in mind your purpose and your intention and follow your heart
