What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our business provides consulting services to behavioral healthcare organizations, primarily focusing on helping those organizations hire key staff for executive, business development, marketing, and admissions positions.
Tell us about yourself
I've developed countless relationships with great people and organizations in behavioral healthcare. I love being able to help them find new opportunities and great staff or advising them on ways to help grow their business.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is starting a business doing something I had never done before, then having the flexibility to pivot the focus of the business when the market was calling for me to focus on something else.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things about being a business owner is pushing past the fear that naturally creeps in when deciding to open your own business or make changes that could drive the business forward but seem uncertain.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a clearly defined value proposition of the products/services you provide.
- Be willing to make changes to your business when pointed in that direction.
- No matter how well things may go, ALWAYS look for new customers and ways to attract them.
