Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal and business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Jocelyn Reaves, Founder of Confidence Daily and CoachedIt, located in Tulsa, OK, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I have a few businesses! For my Fireside Insights business, I work to coach healthcare businesses on their brands. For Confidence Daily, I have a blog, YouTube channel, and podcast that is working to build confidence in all types of women. For CoachedIT, this is an AI platform and coaching database where the AI helps the coaching to be guided and in tune with emotions.

Tell us about yourself

I am the Dual Founder & CEO of CoachedIt and Confidence Daily, thriving at the intersection of success and self-actualization. Having transitioned from a healthcare executive to a Titan Award-winning entrepreneur, I've experienced both corporate and creative industries. Throughout my career, I've observed a consistent theme: high-potential women tend to play small due to imposter syndrome or a lack of mentality.

In my role as Principal Consultant at Fireside Insights, I assist my clients in achieving business success. However, my true value lies in identifying and dispelling internal obstacles and limiting beliefs that hinder success on all fronts. Driven by the desire to impact as many individuals as possible, I recognized that I couldn't achieve this alone. This realization led me to create CoachedIt, a platform connecting people with life coaches capable of guiding them toward wellbeing and success.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have worked with large brands that are household names. I have also created a great platform that is in tune with women and telling their stories.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The idea is that this is all on us as the business owner. It is important to have a powerful team around you.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

I would say to make sure that you have a movement of people that you want to impact. Make sure that you have guidance or a sounding board to bounce off of.
