What's your business, and who are your customers?

Our business is inventing innovative products, such as TYE4®, Parasetter®, SmartSeat™, etc. Patented and trademarked to facilitate better bodies. Our main customers are Pilates, yoga, and barre professionals. We also sell directly to the consumer on Amazon, and our content is rated A+.

Tell us about yourself

First, I am 81 years old. I started working in 1963 at Scholastic. I have worked in many industries: publishing, hair and cosmetics printing, and now bodies. My only motivation is that I have a good work ethic, and there is work to be done. It is from another generation where people just get the job done!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Inventing TYE4® and TYE4X™, which are the resistance assistance products that people need today, and being the co-creator of 80Bites, which is the only solution to obesity.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Every day is a battle. You're essentially at war. Very few people--almost none--give assistance, only resistance.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

First, do not do this alone. Always have a partner--may be several. Second, unless you're in technology, don't innovate; copy! Third, get as much capital as possible.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Very few entrepreneurs exist; most people are only doing this solo experience because they probably can't get a job at a company. Most people, after a while, won't admit the truth. They are reluctant entrepreneurs.
