Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal and business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Jesur Habek, Founder of AWelcomeHome, located in Seattle, WA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is working with people who want to be seen for their greatness and stake a claim to their name. Clients invested in personal development and actively work in a business organization or aspire to create one. Those who experience feeling: unseen, unheard, undervalued, stepped on, overlooked, and forgotten are the best for me people to coach.

Tell us about yourself

My favorite part of coaching is getting clients to their “light-bulb” moment. I coach clients on where to shift perspective while hitting a mental and/or emotional block, then use personal development and mindfulness as tools for success. In my style of coaching, I use the Socratic Method to get to the heart of a conversation initially; then, we shift into Mindful Accountability - allowing results to develop.

“What is not brought to consciousness comes to us as fate.” - Carl Jung.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment has been developing a practice that creates personal momentum and sharing that with clients.

“There is a powerful driving force inside every human being that, once unleased, can make any vision, dream, or desire a reality.” - Tony Robbins.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Confronting the fear of failure. Realizing that failure comes along with success has been a big learning curve for a previous perfectionist. Perfection is the organizing of chaos in the process, not the result.

“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve, the fear of failure” – Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know your faith better than anyone else – connect to your faith through your work.
  2. Practice the habits that produce a positive result for you and others daily.
  3. Build relationships based on friendship; when in need, your friends will come to your aid.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I bring my whole self to my clients and meet them where they are. I bring life coaching skills into a business coaching practice and give a holistic approach to addressing any blocks, obstacles, concerns, or issues. I’m a natural coach and want to share my gift with people who want to tap into their latent potential. My practice takes clients into: studying habits, rediscovering their personal sense of creativity, developing mindfulness, discovering personal theology, and addressing doubt with care. The result is a more powerful and present – You. I look forward to working with you!
