What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a career and life coach. I support folks at all stages of their careers and lives as they navigate through transitions and challenges and explore the next steps.
Tell us about yourself
I have always received the greatest satisfaction from seeing others thrive. My background is in education and counseling, and I am naturally drawn to teach others, help them build meaningful connections, and guide them to success.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment has been providing support to a diverse population of folks and witnessing their individual success.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
My coaching business is something I do in addition to my full-time role. So, having time to dedicate to that growth is a challenge.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Prioritize your health and well-being.
- Connect with mentors and folks who are succeeding in ways that you admire. Set up regular conversations and informational interviews.
- Be excited to do the work that you're doing. If you're not, maybe it's the wrong business for you.
