What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a Breathwork Meditation Healer supporting people in living more intentional lives through Breathwork, Meditation & Intuitive Healing. I teach private, corporate, groups, and conferences focusing on releasing the wisdom and answers that reside within our bodies and, ultimately, our wild hearts. As a healer, I guide and intuitively coach people on 4 monthly journeys through discerning what it is they want to create or change in their lives by developing a heightened sense of awareness inwards through meditation, breathwork, and intuitive coaching techniques. I have been a student of many master teachers in Buddhist lineages for Meditation, along with a level 4 certified Breathwork Meditation Instructor and Reiki Facilitator, and have been initiated to teach by my mentors for my authentic ability to transmit the teachings. I am also a speaker, and a human development writer, currently working on my own book, and am the founder of Expanded Wild Hearts, an intensive healing experience moving through fears and returning to love. I believe everyone deserves to be their most authentic self and that it's made possible when we dive deep within ourselves.

My clients are people who are hungry to live their best life, the life they always dreamed of, and are willing to go deep inside themselves, be self-reflective, and create the change that will help them get there. My work is for anyone looking for a healing, to release stress, to connect with themselves, to learn about self-love, to move through fears, anxieties, and stressors, to expand their heart, and to connect with their own authentic self.

Tell us about yourself

What motivates me every day to do what I do is the lives people create for themselves as a result of our work together. Watching people change their lives, watching them create everything they've ever dreamed of, and watching them believe in themselves is the world's greatest reward. Most people think is watching people learn that they can heal themselves, they can use this work to become a ripple effect of healing in their own lives, and that is the change I hope to see in the world, so to be a part of that ripple is an honor.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

And as the founder of my practice, I've developed tools like the 30-Day Breathwork Journey, Expanded Wild Hearts, retreats, and online healing intensives, which gather people from all over the world to act as mirrors for one another's healing; all programs developed to help people heal from their pains, and step into their future through deeper love, connection, and authenticity. That is something I am very proud of, especially Expanded Wild Hearts. It's a program I created to help people move through fear and return to love, and to have people want to come back year after year makes my heart so full because it was a program created from my heart.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

My biggest challenge has been getting out of my own way. Like many others in this world, my mind can be like a monkey, jumping around between thoughts, ideas, creations, doubts, fears, joys, and love. I believe that staying true to my practices, to breathwork, to meditation, to my daily journaling and writing is what continues to help me overcome my standing in my own way. I work with myself each and every day, I use different practices and tools, and over time my monkey brain has gotten significantly better and more able to focus on love, focus on trust, and on letting go into Universal flow. Overcoming monkey brain might be something that's always there, I'm not sure, but as I've watched myself improve over time, my faith in myself, in my business, its success, and how it all unfolds continues to grow stronger.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. I'd really recommend just getting started. That, to me, means beginning with breathwork meditation. Ultimately, you can talk about breathwork, read about breathwork, and hear about breathwork, but you'll never grasp the true healing experience that it can be for you until you lay down for the practice itself. Looking inward with breathwork can be a really magical experience, and it can be the tool that helps you get out of your own way, get out of your own head and clear the path for you on your business journey.
  2. Besides that, my advice to anyone starting their own business or to aspiring dream goers is to do your research, ask questions and take it slow. Information is power; it can help build your confidence and personal strength as a business owner - if you allow it. But it can also be overwhelming and bring you down - if you allow it. Find a mentor or mentors, take them to lunches, coffees, etc. and ask them questions; give yourself time to grow, and know that if you truly believe in what you're building, the Universe will help support the execution and the details.
  3. There will always be challenges and roadblocks to overcome. The key is to BELIEVE. Believe in yourself, believe in what you're doing, believe in putting yourself out there, believe in having the hard conversations and answering the hard questions. Fear and doubt will always exist in some capacity, but it's up to you to decide how much strength and how much power you're going to let them have over you. As far as I'm concerned, if there isn't a little bit of fear in what I'm doing, then I'm probably playing it too safe and have gotten too comfortable with complacency.
